न मिला, न देखा,न तो एक दूसरे को जाना,

फिर भी दे गए वो एक दूसरे को दिल का नजराना,

ये आज की बात नहीं,ये युगों-युगों का संगम है,

इसलिए हर जन्म मिलते हम एक दूसरे से,

क्योंकि ये दो शरीर एक आत्मा का बंधन है। 

न तो देखी आपकी सूरत,न तो देखी आपकी दौलत,

बस देखा है मैंने आपकी आँखों में अपनी सूरत,

लोग कहते है कैसी होती है ईश्वर की मूरत,

आपकी सीरत को देख ये जाना ऐसी ही होती है ईश्वर की मूरत।  

लोग कहते है प्रेम में बस दर्द है,

मगर हम कहते है हर दर्द की दवा प्रेम है,

दिल से निभाया जाए यदि प्रेम को,

धूप में भी मिलता है छाव जब इरादे नेक हो। 

प्रेम का दूसरा नाम है विवाह,

दिल में नहीं बस सकता कोई उसके सिवा,

प्रेम में वासना का कोई स्थान नहीं,

सच्चे प्रेम को पाना इतना आसान नहीं। 

तन्हाई में रातों को जब हम जागा करते थे,

अपने दिल की हर बात डायरी में लिखा करते थे,

कभी सोचा नहीं था मेरी लिखी हर बात सच हो जाएगी,

मेरे सपनों के राजकुमार को हकीकत में एक दिन मेरे सामने ले आएगी।

I haven't seen your face, nor have I seen your wealth,

I've only seen my own reflection in your eyes.

People wonder what God's image is like,

But seeing your character, I've realized that this is what God's image must be like.

People say there is only pain in love,

But we say love is the cure for every pain,

If love is nurtured from the heart,

You find shade even in the scorching sun when your intentions are pure.

Marriage is another name for love,

No one else can reside in the heart but them,

There is no place for lust in love,

Finding true love is not so easy.

In the lonely nights when I used to stay awake,

I would write down everything in my heart in my diary,

I never thought that everything I wrote would come true,

And that it would one day bring the prince of my dreams into my life.
