वाकई आप खुद को शिक्षित मानते है ?Do You Truly Consider Yourself Educated?

 

कुछ लोग अक्सर बात-बात पर औकात दिखाते है,

गैरों की छोड़ो हमारे अपने भी जब हैसियत देख बात करते है,

ऐसे लोगों का हम शुक्रिया अदा करते है,क्योंकि जवाब देना हम जरूरी नहीं समझते है,

क्योंकि हम सही समय का इंतजार करते है,वरना औकात दिखाना हम भी बखूबी जानते है।

जो लोग इंसानियत की राह पर चलते है,

वो कभी किसी को औकात नहीं दिखाते है,

इस दिखावे भरी दुनिया को आइना दिखाना हम बखूबी जानते है,

मगर अपनी अच्छी सीरत के कारण बुरे के साथ बुरा बनना हम नहीं चाहते है।  

शिक्षित होकर भी यदि तुम किसी को औकात दिखाते हो,

भला फिर कैसे शिक्षित होने की बात तुम करते हो ?

पैसे,पद और हैसियत को देख यदि तुम किसी को सम्मान देते हो,

इसका अर्थ यही है कि अहंकार में आ कर तुम खुद का ही अपमान करते हो,

फिर कैसे तुम खुद को शिक्षित और सभ्य मानते हो ?

यहां हर चेहरे पर नया चेहरा है,

मुखौटे को बांधे एक राज गहरा है,

कहते है लोग दुनिया बस पैसों से चलती है,

पैसे और रूप को देख यहां लोगों की नियत फिसलती है,

शायद कर्मो के दंड से अनजान है सब कि नियति किसी के लिए नहीं बदलती है।

Some people often try to put others in their place at every turn.

Leave aside strangers—even our own loved ones speak to us only after sizing up our status.

We offer our thanks to such people, for we do not deem it necessary to offer a retort;

Instead, we wait for the right moment—for rest assured, we, too, know perfectly well how to show someone their true place.

Those who walk the path of humanity

Never seek to put anyone in their place.

We know full well how to hold a mirror up

To this world of pretense;

Yet, by virtue of our virtuous nature,

We choose not to stoop to the level of the wicked.

If, despite being educated, you treat someone with disdain—

How, then, can you truly claim to be educated?

If you accord respect to others solely based on their wealth, position, or status—

It implies that, blinded by arrogance, you are merely demeaning yourself;

How, then, can you consider yourself educated and civilized?

Here, upon every face lies yet another face;

Beneath the mask, a deep secret is bound.

People say that the world runs solely on money;

At the sight of wealth and beauty, people's intentions here falter.

Perhaps they remain oblivious to the retribution of their deeds—

That destiny, for anyone, never changes its course.
