एक असमंजस है इस जीवन का,
क्या खूब बदला है रंग इस जमाने का!
काम जो अच्छा करें, उसका नाम नहीं होता,
मगर जो दिखावे का स्वांग रचे,वही जग में मशहूर होता।
असफलता हाथ लगती तो लोग कहते कौन हूँ मैं ?
मगर सफल होते ही सबके लिए अहम हूँ मैं,
ये है सफलता और असफलता की बड़ी अजीब कहानी,
इस दुनिया में जो होता सफल उसी की बात जाती है मानी।
ये कायनात की साजिश कहो,या हमारी किस्मत,
किसी के चाहने न चाहने से क्या होता है ?
किस्मत के आगे हर कोई बेबस होता है,
मगर जिसे खुद पर विश्वास हो, वही अपनी किस्मत बदलता है।
शख्सियत ऐसी जो किसी पहचान का मोहताज नहीं,
कर्म ऐसा जो किसी की नजरों में गिराए नहीं,
वचन ऐसा जो देकर भुलाया जाए नहीं,
चरित्र ऐसा जिसपर कोई ऊँगली उठाए नहीं।
आज भले ही सबकी नजरों में आम हूँ मैं,
उन्हें नहीं पता की बुरी सोच और बुरे कर्मो पर एक लगाम हूँ मैं,
मगर जिसने इस जहान को बनाया ,उसे पता है कि कौन हूँ मैं,
कोई तो कारण है दुनिया वालों जो अभी मौन हूँ मैं।

Promises that are never broken,

Today, I may seem ordinary in everyone's eyes,
They don't know that I am a restraint on evil thoughts and wicked deeds,
But the one who created this world knows who I am,
There is a reason, O people of the world, why I am silent now.
