जिंदगी के हर फैसले पर सवाल करना छोड़ दिया,
जो मिला वो खुशनसीबी की बात है,
जो ना मिला वो नसीब के हाथ है।
चाहे खुशी हो या गम अपनों के लिए कभी प्यार न होगा कम,
अपनों के संग रहकर मिट जाता दुनिया का हर गम,
अपनों के बगैर हर त्योहार फीके लगते हैं,
अपनों के संग हर दिन त्योहार से लगते हैं।
खामियां भी जरूरी है,जिंदगी में सबक पाने के लिए,
क्योंकि बिना खामियों के इंसान के परिचय का पता नहीं चलता,
इंसान अपनी या दूसरों की खामियों से बहुत कुछ सीख जाता है,
क्योंकि एक बार गिर कर ही तो इंसान संभल कर चलता है।
ऐ जिंदगी तुझसे शिकायतें कभी खत्म नहीं होती,
क्योंकि सबको अच्छे बुरे की परख नहीं होती,
अब अच्छाई की कदर करना भूल गए है लोग,
मतलब की दुनिया में आ कर बेमतलब की बातें करते है लोग।

I have now ceased to harbor grievances against life;
I have stopped questioning every decision it makes.
Whatever I received is a matter of good fortune;
And whatever I did not—that lies in the hands of fate.
Be it in times of joy or sorrow, love for our loved ones never diminishes;
Staying amidst our own, every worldly sorrow fades away;
Without our loved ones, even the grandest festivals feel lackluster;
But in their company, every single day feels like a celebration.
Flaws, too, are essential for learning life's lessons;
For without imperfections, one's true character remains unknown.
A person learns a great deal from their own flaws—or those of others,
For it is only after stumbling once that one learns to walk with steady steps.
Oh Life, my grievances against you never cease,
For not everyone possesses the discernment to distinguish between good and bad.
People have now forgotten how to value goodness;
Having entered this self-serving world, they engage only in meaningless chatter.
