घर और मकान में बहुत फर्क है आप में से कुछ लोग सोचेंगे ऐसा क्या फर्क है ? मकान कहो या घर एक ही बात है।
घर उसे कहते है जहां अपनों से कोई नफरत या करवाहट नहीं होती, घर उसे कहते है जहां बड़े और छोटे सभी के लिए सम्मान होता है, घर उसे कहते है जहां कोई भेदभाव और राज नहीं होता।जब कोई भी इंसान बाहर से घर आता है उसे जो सुकून और आराम अपने घर में महसूस होता है वो कहीं और हो ही नहीं सकता। मगर ये तभी संभव है जब दिलों में एक दूसरे के लिए प्यार और सम्मान बसा हो।
इंसान चाहे कितना भी पैसा कमा ले मगर जब तक उसमे इंसानियत का वास नहीं तब तक ये पैसा उसके किसी काम नहीं। आज कल बहुत से परिवार और रिश्तेदार पैसो के कारण ही रिश्तो की अहमियत भूल गए है। ज्यादातर घरों में पैसा ही विवाद कलह और अशांति की वजह बना है। फिर वो घर नहीं बल्कि मकान कहलाता है,जिसने अपनों के बीच एक दीवार खड़ी कर दी है।
इस दुनिया में यदि कुछ अमूल्य है तो वो है अपनों का साथ यदि अपनों का साथ हो तो हर दुख सुख में बदल जाता है,यदि अपनों का प्यार और विश्वास हो तो धूप में भी छांव नजर आती है। जिस घर में अपनों के लिए प्यार और सम्मान होता है उस घर में साक्षात ईश्वर का वास होता है।
मगर जिस घर में हर दिन अपनों का तिरस्कार होता है उस घर में दुख,दरिद्रता,अशांति और नकारात्मक ऊर्जा का वास होता है। ऐसे स्थान पर ईश्वर कभी नहीं आना चाहते जहां केवल बुराई हो। फिर वो घर नहीं बल्कि एक साधारण सा मकान कहलाता है भले ही वो विशाल सुंदर सजावट युक्त इमारत हो मगर उसकी शोभा सुंदर सजावट नहीं बढ़ा सकती। बाहर से मजबूत विशाल सुंदर दिखने वाला मगर अंदर से वो एक खोखला मकान बन कर रह जाता है।
यत्र दुष्टचिन्तनं तत्र सद्चिन्तनस्य स्थानं नास्ति; यत्र व्यभिचारः भवति, यत्र स्वजनस्य अनादरः भवति, तत्र तस्मिन् गृहे ईश्वरस्य दर्शनं नास्ति।
अर्थ -जहां कुमति तहां सुमति का न ठिकाना,जहां व्यभिचार जहां हो अपनों का तिरस्कार,होता ना उस घर ईश्वर का साक्षात्कार।

There is a vast difference between a 'home' and a 'house.' Some of you might wonder: what exactly is that difference? You might think that calling it a 'home' or a 'house' amounts to the very same thing.
A home is a place where there is no hatred or bitterness among loved ones; a home is a place where everyone—both young and old—is treated with respect; a home is a place where there is no discrimination or secrets.When a person returns home from the outside world, the sense of peace and comfort they experience within their own home is something that simply cannot be found anywhere else. However, this is possible only when love and respect for one another reside within the hearts of those living there.
No matter how much wealth a person accumulates, unless humanity resides within them, that money serves no purpose. Nowadays, many families and relatives have lost sight of the true value of relationships solely because of money. In most households, money has become the very source of disputes, discord, and unrest. Such a place can no longer be called a 'home,' but merely a 'house'—one that has erected a wall between loved ones.
If anything in this world is truly priceless, it is the companionship of our loved ones. When we have their support, every sorrow transforms into joy; when we possess their love and trust, even the scorching sun feels like comforting shade. The home where love and respect for one's own prevail is a home where God Himself resides.
However, a home where loved ones are treated with disdain on a daily basis becomes a dwelling place for sorrow, destitution, unrest, and negative energy. The Divine never chooses to enter such a place—one where only negativity prevails. Consequently, it ceases to be a true "home" and is reduced to being merely a "house"; even if it is a vast, beautifully adorned edifice, its aesthetic splendor cannot truly enhance its worth. Though it may appear strong, grand, and beautiful from the outside, inwardly, it remains nothing more than a hollow structure.
Where there is evil thought, there is no good thought; Where there is adultery, where there is contempt for loved ones, there is no vision of God in that house.
